Path

A simple training path

  1. Certificate

Each pilot earns and keeps a Part 107 certificate, or meets your COA's pilot requirements.
  2. Aircraft type training

Hands-on with the exact aircraft, payload and software your agency flies.
  3. Mission training

Night, thermal search, scene documentation, and the warrant and records rules in Ohio Drone Laws.
  4. Proficiency and records

Set a minimum flight-hour or skills-check interval and log it.

Make it stick

Pro tip
Train on the waiver you hold
A 200 ft shielded 91.113 waiver and a Part 107 PSO waiver have different conditions. Your scenarios should match.
